Course Learning Objectives

The use of learning objectives or outcomes encourages students to be intentional and reflective of their own learning.

All courses are to have course learning outcomes that are approved by program faculty and aligned to the program learning objectives. Course learning outcomes are to be published along with other course information in the Cal Poly online catalog. Faculty are to communicate course learning outcomes to students via the syllabus or other means appropriate to the course.
